I am utterly delighted and surprised to learn that I have today been elected as a Fellow of the British Academy. I am one of 86 academics to be elected in 2020, with the award being given to researchers in recognition of “outstanding contributions to subjects within the humanities and social sciences”.
Other newly elected academics include Professor Gurminder Bhambra, Professor Catherine Barnard and fellow Warwick academic Mark Harrison, while Gary Younge, Bridget Kendall, Mary Robinson and Robin Jackson were named as honorary Fellows. To find out more about the 2020 contingent, click here.
